Brabantia opted for Dell EMC after Proof of Concept facilitated by iRent
Company name: Brabantia
Industry: household products
Reason for renting out: Proof of Concept
Project description: Brabantia used the SC series and was looking for a similar solution. Dell EMC entered into dialogue with Brabantia and was able to provide a similar solution to the latest available technology, the Unity. Because there were more vendors at the negotiating table, Dell EMC had to step up to the negotiations. That’s why Dell EMC has deployed iRent to facilitate a Proof of Concept. This enabled Brabantia to experience the Unity in its own environment. iRent has more than 10 million equipment in stock, which made it possible to switch quickly, within two days the solution was running and at the customer’s premises.
The result: After seeing and testing the Unity Storage at their own location, Brabantia was impressed by the results and they chose to implement the system in their infrastructure. The system was purchased and delivered via Brabantia’s own partner.
Info about the company: Brabantia was founded in 1919 in the Dutch town of Aalst by a group of 15 people. A family business. Then and now. With a firm belief in honest products, made by people with a heart for quality. Ideas focused on sustainability – designed for living.
